This is Flash.  Flash was with Humane Society of Blue Ridge for while, but one faithful day, his life changed for the better.  USDA National Detector Dog Training Center called and was interested in seeing if Flash could be a part of their program.  After passing all of the qualifications needed to accepted into the program and a rigorous 10-week certification course, Flash will officially be paired with a federal handler and after the graduation ceremony they will travel to their duty station where Flash will continue to protect our nation from threats that are hard for humans do detect.

Flash did so well on his first day as a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Agent at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta in Georgia. Atta boy Flash, Humane Society of Blue Ridge is so proud of you! Read the article below.
